Graduated in Agriculture and PhD in Social Science, Civil Service by profession. I started Photography almost 10 years before, primarily to learn a new skill and more as a free time hobby. Slowly I started with bird photography. The enigmatic beauty & grace of these bejewelled beauties pulls me to travel far & wide across India. Priceless satisfaction I get after taking a good photo. To understand the habit & habitat of birds and to improve my photography, I also had undertaken Basic Ornithology Certificate course at BNHS in 2020. With the passage of time, I acquired new photography gadgets to hone up my skills.
As a photographer, I would love to show the people around me the different species of birds, animals, their habitat, their behaviour etc. hoping to contribute towards wildlife conservation. I occasionally contribute in Saveus and Nature in Focus about interesting off-beat locations. I tweet as @dipankarmandalP and post as dipankarmandal.photography on Instagram. His portfolio is available at shutterstock and at https://dipankarsphotography.myportfolio.com/
